Food Safety Talk 332: My Hairdresser Was Asking (Live from Intermountain IFT meeting)

Added on April 8, 2026 by Ben Chapman.

In this Risky or Not Live cross-over episode, Don and Ben get together in person and do a live show from Boise, Idaho. After doing a bit of shucking and jiving to introduce new audience members to Food Safety Talk and Risky or Not formats, the guys get into some food safety stuff. They talk about infant formula and risks from Clostridium botulinum and an outbreak that happened last fall. After taking some questions from the audience they get into the Boars Head/Listeria outbreak followup, and talk through other Listeria issues with peaches and pasta. They also touch on Bacillus cereus in grains, inspection staff cuts and handwashing.
